Factual Information

On February 17, 1997, at 1800 hours Pacific standard time, a Piper PA-28, N75050, collided with a ground vehicle during landing at an unlighted dirt strip at Mulege, Mexico. The aircraft sustained substantial damage and the two passengers were not injured. The aircraft departed San Jose, California, for the flight to Mexico. The investigation is under the jurisdiction of the Mexican government.
