Analysis

DURING A VISUAL APPROACH TO AN AIRPORT THE AIRPLANE STRUCK A LARGE TREE DURING AN ATTEMPTED GO-AROUND DUE TO THE PILOT LOSING AIRSPEED AND ALTITUDE. THE TREE STRIKE RESULTED IN THE LEFT WING BEING SEVERED.
