THE STUDENT PILOT SAID THAT WHILE PRACTICING TAKEOFFS AND LANDING, HE LOST DIRECTIONAL CONTROL DURING A LANDING. HE VEERED OFF THE RUNWAY AND SLID INTO A DITCH.

DIRECTIONAL CONTROL WAS NOT MAINTAINED BY THE PILOT.
