Analysis

THE PILOT STATED THAT DURING A TURN-AROUND MANEUVER AT THE END OF A SWATH RUN, THE AIRPLANE BEGAN TO SETTLE AND HE JETTISONED THE CHEMICAL LOAD. THE AIRPLANE CONTINUED TO SETTLE AND CRASHED INTO A WOODED AREA. WHERE IT WAS DESTROYED BY FIRE. POST-ACCIDENT INSPECTION FAILED TO REVEAL ANY MECHANICAL FAILURE/MALFUNCTION OF THE AIRPLANE OR ENGINE.

THE PILOT'S FAILURE TO MAINTAIN ADEQUATE AIRSPEED DURING THE SWATH RUN TURN.
