THE PILOT ABORTED TAKEOFF FROM A BEACH. THE AIRPLANE STRUCK A TREE STUMP AND NOSED OVER. THE AIRPLANE WAS REPORTEDLY HEAVILY LOADED AT THE TIME. GUSTY AND VARIABLE CROSSWINDS OF ABOUT 30 TO 40 KNOTS WERE REPORTED.
