Analysis

DURING A CROSS COUNTRY FLIGHT, THE ENGINE LOST POWER DUE TO FUEL EXHAUSTION. THE STUDENT PILOT MISCALCULATED THE FUEL SUPPLY. EXAMINATION OF THE FUEL TANKS REVEALED NO EVIDENCE OF FUEL OR POST CRASH LEAKAGE.
