Analysis

AFTER TAKEOFF, THE ENGINE LOST POWER AND THE AIRCRAFT CRASHED IN A CORNFIELD. THE PILOT TURNED LEFT TO AVOID A CONGESTEDAREA AND MADE GROUND CONTACT WITH THE LEFT WING FIRST. THE AIRCRAFT WAS DEMOLISHED BY IMPACT AND FIRE. THE PILOT SAYS HEHAD A QUARTER OF A TANK OF FUEL IN EACH TANK AND WAS FLYING TO AN OTHER AIRPORT TO BUY FUEL.
