Factual Information

On December 23, 2005, a British Aerospace Jetstream 3200, registered in Australia as VH-OAE, experienced a loss of power from the right-hand engine, a Honeywell TPE331-12UHR-702H turbopropeller, during cruise flight near Adelaide, Australia. The pilots reported the right engine's torque indications began to fluctuate and the engine then shut down. The pilots made several unsuccessful attempts to restart the engine. The airplane then made an uneventful single-engine landing. The investigation of this incident is under the jusisdiction of the Australian Transport Safety Bureau.
