Factual Information

On May 8, 2009, at 1558 local time, a Boeing McDonnell Douglas MD90, Saudi Arabian registration HZ-APW; S/N 53513, operated by Saudi Arabian Airlines was damaged when exiting a high-speed taxiway after landing on runway 15R at Riyadh Airport. The laft main gear collapsed and the left wing contacted the ground. There were no injuries among the 8 crew members on the non-scheduled positioning flight from Jeddah. This accident is being investigated by the Saudi Arabian GCAA.
