Analysis

At 2300 local time on April 13, 2010, an Airbus A300-200, Mexican registration XA-TUE, crashed on approach to Monterrey, Mexico. The airplane was destroyed, 5 crewmembers and one person on the ground, were killed. Rain showers and cumulonimbus clouds were reported in the area. Factual Information

At 2300 local time on April 13, 2010, an Airbus A300-200, Mexican registration XA-TUE, crashed on approach to Monterrey, Mexico. The airplane was destroyed, and 5 crewmembers and one person on the ground were killed. Rain showers and cumulonimbus clouds were reported in the area. The accident is being investigated by the Mexican Dirección General de Aeronáutica Civil (DGAC). The NTSB designated a U.S. Accredited Representative to the DGAC's investigation under the provisions of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Annex 13 as the state of manufacture of the engines.
