Factual Information

On November 26, 2011, about 1300 UTC, N811DE, a Grumman G-1159 Gulfstream G-II, a private flight operated by Wings Over Africa, was involved in a runway excursion following a rejected takeoff. None of the 10 persons aboard were injured. The aircraft was substantially damaged. There was no fire. The intended destination was Saurimo, Angola. An investigation has been instituted by the Angolan Department of Civil Aviation (ADCA). As the State of Manufacture of the airplane, a US Accredited Representative has been appointed.
