Factual Information

On March 25, 2012, at 1044 Taipei local time, a Boeing 747-400 airplane, registration number B-16411, operating as EVA Airways Corporation passenger flight BR702, encountered a left outflow valve malfunction and abnormal cabin altitude during enroute climb. The aircraft returned to Taoyuan International Airport without further incident. The Aviation Safety Council (ASC) of Taiwan investigated the incident.
