Factual Information

On May 19, 2013, about 1019 hours universal coordinated time, a Piper PA-28-140, United Kingdom registration G-ATRR, impacted terrain during landing at the Caernarfon Airport (EGCK), Gwynedd, Wales, United Kingdom. There were three occupants on-board at the time of the accident. One was fatally injured and two were seriously injured. The accident investigation is under the jurisdiction and control of the Air Accidents Investigation Branch (AAIB).
