Factual Information

On July 23, 2013, at 1525 universal coordinated time, a Piper PA-28-161, HB-PNR, impacted terrain during a go-around from runway 21 at Kaegiswil Airport (LSPG), Kagiswil, Canton of Obwalden, Switzerland. The airplane was destroyed. Two pilots and one passenger were fatally injured. The flight originated from and was destined for LSPG. The accident investigation is under the jurisdiction and control of the government of Switzerland.
