Analysis

On September 21, 2013, at 1730 Universal Coordinated Time (UTC), a Cessna R172K, Ecuadorian registration HC-BGT, operated by Aerosangay, was destroyed following a collision with terrain near Morona Santiago, Ecuador. The flight was originating at the time of the accident. The pilot received serious injuries and the three passengers were fatally injured.   The investigation is under the jurisdiction of the government of Ecuador.
