Factual Information

On March 29, 2014, about 1900 coordinated universal time, a Boeing B75 Stearman, Argentine registration LV-HAF, was substantially damaged when it impacted the ground during the initial climb after takeoff from the Lujan Airport, Lujan, Argentina. The pilot was seriously injured and a passenger was fatally injured. The personal flight was destined for the San Andres de Giles Airport, San Andres de Giles, Argentina, and was conducted under Argentine flight regulations. This investigation is under the jurisdiction of the Government of Argentina.
