Factual Information

On June 21, 2014, about 1115 hours universal coordinated time, a Cessna model U206 Turbo Stationair, United Kingdom registration G-SKYE, was substantially damaged during a forced landing following a loss of engine power after takeoff from the Abbeyshrule Airport (EIAB), Abbeyshrule, County Longford, Ireland. The pilot and four passengers were not injured. The accident investigation is under the jurisdiction and control of the Air Accident Investigation Unit (AAIU).
