Factual Information

On March 27, 2014, at 0900 universal coordinated time, a Robinson R22 Beta, VH-HRX, collided with terrain near Borroloola, Australia during an aerial mustering flight. The helicopter was operated by the pilot under the pertinent civil regulations of the government of Australia. The pilot was seriously injured and the helicopter was substantially damaged.
