Factual Information

On November 20, 2014, a Piper PA-31, XB-ZAX, impacted terrain near Ciudad Victoria, Tamaulipas, Mexico. The pilot and five passengers were fatally injured and the airplane sustained substantial damage. The aircraft originated from Ciudad Victoria before heading for its final destination of Torreon, Coahuila, Mexico. The accident investigation is under the jurisdiction and control of the Dirección General de Aeronáutica Civil (DGAC).
