Factual Information

On October 6, 2015, about 1200 universal coordinated time, an Embraer EMB721C, Brazilian registration PT-RAM, was substantially damaged when it encountered a wind gust and struck a tree, during takeoff from Guanabara Farm, Corumba, Brazil. The pilot and one passenger were not injured. A second passenger was fatally injured. Visual meteorological conditions prevailed for the flight that was destined for Estancia Santa Maria (SSKG), Campo Grande, Brazil. The personal flight was conducted under Brazilian flight regulations. This investigation is under jurisdiction of the Government of Brazil.
