Factual Information

On November 22, 2015, about 0302 Coordinated Universal Time, a Bell 206 helicopter, Taiwan Island registration number B-31127, operated by Emerald Pacific Airlines, was destroyed following an impact with terrain about 7 nautical miles southwest of Taipei Songshan Airport, Taiwan. Both crew members received fatal injuries. The AVIATION SAFETY COUNCIL, Taiwan is investigating the accident. As the state of manufacture of the helicopter engine, the NTSB has designated a U.S. Accredited Representative under the provisions of Annex 13 to the Convention on Civil Aviation to assist Aviation Safety Council (ASC) in their investigation.
