Factual Information

On March 20, 2016, at 1730 Universal Coordinated Time (UTC), a Cessna 150L, Ecuadorian registration HC-CJS, operated by Sky Ecuador, received substantial damage following a loss of engine power and forced landing in a rice field near Daule, Ecuador. The flight originated at José Joaquín de Olmedo International Airport (SEGU), Guayaquil, Ecuador. The pilot and one passenger were not injured. The investigation is under the jurisdiction of the Government of Ecuador.
