Factual Information

On September 6, 2016, about 1420 hours coordinated universal time (UTC), a French manufactured Robin DR400-180 airplane, Spanish registration EC-KFG, impacted terrain neat Villanueva del Condado, Leon, Spain. The pilot and passenger were fatally injured. The cross country flight departed from La Coruña Airport, (LECO), A Coruña, Spain, and was en route to Pamplona Airport (LEPP), Pamplona, Spain. The accident investigation is under the jurisdiction and control of the Comisión de Investigación de Accidentes e Incidentes de Aviación Civil (CIAIAC).
