Factual Information

On November 23, 2016, about 1410 universal coordinated time, an Ayres S2-R, United States registration N5532G, was destroyed when it impacted mountainous terrain near Paso Internacional Los Libertadores, Chile. The pilot was fatally injured. The flight originated from Comodoro Arturo Merino Benítez International Airport, (SCEL) Pudahuel, Chile and was destined for Rosario-Islas Malvinas International Airport, (SAAR), Sante Fe, Argentina..This investigation is under the jurisdiction of the Government of Chile.
