Factual Information

On September 11, 2017, at 0956 universal coordinated time (UTC), a Piper PA-28RT-201 single-engine airplane, United Kingdom registration G-BHAY, serial number 28R-7918213, was substantially damaged during a forced landing following a loss of engine power and an electrical system fire near Wolferton, Norfolk, United Kingdom. The pilot and his passenger were fatally injured.The investigation is under the jurisdiction of the United Kingdom government.
