Factual Information

On August 9, 2018, about 1000 UTC, a Beechcraft Baron 58 airplane, Hungarian registration PH-CJX, impacted terrain under unknown circumstances near Münster, Germany. The two occupants inside the airplane sustained fatal injuries. The airplane sustained substantial damage. The accident investigation is under the jurisdiction and control of the German government. This report is for information purposes only and contains only information released by or obtained from the German Federal Bureau of Aircraft Accident Investigation (BFU). The National Transportation Safety Board has appointed a U.S. Accredited Representative to assist the BFU investigation under the provisions of International Civil Aviation Organization Annex 13 as the State of Manufacturer of the airplane and the engine.
