Factual Information

On May 12, 2019, about 0930 coordinated universal time (UTC), a Cirrus Aircraft SR22T airplane, Guernsey registration 2-RORO, serial number 701, was destroyed during a forced landing and postimpact fire following a loss of engine power shortly after takeoff from Abergavenny Airfield near Abergavenny, Wales, United Kingdom. The pilot and two passengers sustained minor injuries.The investigation is under the jurisdiction of the United Kingdom government.
